Sam had obtained his Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. He is currently pursuing post graduate studies in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
Sam is passionate in treating musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, stroke and neurological conditions. In particular, he enjoys treating shoulder, knee, cervical and low back pain, sports injuries, stroke and neurological conditions.
Helping one back to their health is keeping Sam going in his profession. By using a holistic approach to rehabilitation, namely with manual therapy, Clinical Pilates, Pain education, and Hydrotherapy, is to ensure one to spring back to their function ASAP.
Sam draws his inspiration to be a physiotherapist from his father. As he is a strong believer of life-long learning, it is essential to learn continuously and have the strong passion and integrity in Physiotherapy. And this belief keeps Sam going with his burning passion to care for his patients to get back to their momentum of a good quality life.
He is known to be professional, passionate, optimist and fun-loving. His favourite mantra to life is work hard, play hard. He truely enjoys life to the maximum.
In addition, Sam had previously suffered from different sports-related injuries during his soccer career. Hence, he totally understood the frustration and concerns of recovering patients. Since being in physiotherapy, it has helped him better manage sports-related injury and it has become one of Sam’s favourite interest.
Sam enjoys playing soccer, travelling, singing and playing guitar. Sam is also a great fan of Manchester United. He has recently picked up snow boarding and is on a mission to ski well on black runs in Australia, Japan and Canada. On the side note, Sam enjoys a really good cup of long black and white chocolate.
Sam is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
